our business even more sustainable by constantly making adjustments and
changes to our operations.
Member of Swisstainable
A Swiss sustainability programme from tourism for tourism. Giving visibility to the commitment to sustainable management in the tourism sector. Existing certifications, initiatives and programmes are integrated and recognised, provided they meet certain standards. The programme is not a new certification.

The label for sustainable hotels, the gold status includes, among other things:
- We use almost exclusively ecological cleaning agents
- Employee wages are all above the minimum wage
- We are committed to the region
- We work to a large extent with regional craftsmen
- The majority of our suppliers are from the surrounding area
- We generate a profit so that we can invest in renewal in good time
- We separate waste wherever possible
Electric car charging station
A charging station is available for our hotel guests.
A reservation is required at least 24 hours before arrival by e-mail or telephone.
Reduced change of linen in the room
If towels are not on the floor, they will not be changed. Bed linen is changed twice a week, guests who wish a daily change can report this to reception.
Breakfast buffet with regional products from Solothurn and the surrounding area
Seasonal and regional breakfast buffet. We also offer vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free alternatives by prior arrangement.
- Organic whole milk from local farmers
- Cheese from the Thal, Bucheggberg, Jura and Wasseramt regions
- Bread from the Solothurn bakery Duo
- Butter, yoghurt and quark from the Lanz dairy in Obergerlafingen
- Apple juice from the Müller family farm in Wangenried
- Cereals from the Kleeb mill in Rüegsau
- Forest and meadow honey from the region
- Organic eggs from the Solothurn region
